Rev. Dr David Pittman, Convener of the National Assembly Working Group on Worship, has launched the latest version of Holy Communion.

The 2012 Cato lecturer, Prof. Kirsteen Kim, believes Christians need a global conversation about mission to learn from one another and to discern together the Holy Spirit among the many spirits in the world.

Pastor Stuart McMillan, the Northern Synod Moderator, has been chosen as President-elect of the Uniting Church in Australia.

The entire 265 Members of the Uniting Church’s Assembly meeting will hold a prayer vigil at 1 pm on Thursday 19 July on the steps of the South Australian Parliament to express their extreme concern at the passage of the Federal Government’s Stronger Futures legislation.

Members of the 13th Assembly have unanimously accepted a proposal for the Uniting Church to “commit itself anew to the people of remote Australia”.

The Uniting Church’s young leaders have challenged the Federal Government to welcome with empathy all people who seek refuge in Australia.

A fundraising dinner to coincide with Assembly has raised $2000 for Adelaide's Northern Suburbs Dinka-speaking Faith Community.

Uniting Church congregations and faith communities will engage in a shared season of teaching and learning about the Christian faith and discipleship in 2014.
